Domestic Help

Housekeeping services are available to people 65 and over at a variable rate, based on family income through Quebec's Financial Assistance Program for Domestic Help Services.

With a referral from the HSSC, people under 65 who require domestic help following surgery or as a result of an illness, or any other incapacity may also benefit from Quebec's Financial Assistance Program for Domestic Help Services.

This program makes it possible for people to obtain affordable domestic help while supporting a local company.

The West Island HSSC is a member of the Montreal Network of Health Promoting Hospitals and CSSSs, affiliated with the World Health Organization (WHO).

 

The CLSC de Pierrefonds and CLSC du Lac-Saint-Louis obtained the Baby-Friendly Initiative Certification, a program of the WHO and UNICEF.
