The Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation

Since 1964, The Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation has collected funds to support the development of the hospital and concentrating on the acquisition of new, advanced medical equipment. It also contributes to the Cœur en santé program, transport for the patients in hemodialysis and the psychological support program for patients with cancer and their families.

The West Island HSSC is a member of the Montreal Network of Health Promoting Hospitals and CSSSs, affiliated with the World Health Organization (WHO).

 

The CLSC de Pierrefonds and CLSC du Lac-Saint-Louis obtained the Baby-Friendly Initiative Certification, a program of the WHO and UNICEF.
