TO REDUCE ALLERGIES, IT'S TIME TO CUT RAGWEED!

Ragweed pollen triggers allergies to more than a million Quebec residents (hay fever, conjunctivitis, asthma exacerbation, etc.) On the island of Montreal, more than 38 000 children aged from 6 months old to 12 years old would suffer from allergies to this pollen.

You can contribute to the reduction of the quantity of ragweed pollen in the air by mowing all lawns you own at two specific times during the summer: mid-July and mid-August. If ragweed is present, this simple action, as evaluated by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, can significantly reduce the production of pollen and will improve the respitory health of your personnel, clients or neighbors who are allergic to ragweed pollen.
