Reappointment of the Board of Directors - Elections by the population - November 2011
The Board of Directors includes local citizens, managers in the health and social services network, as well as practitioners. The composition of the Board of Directors includes an equal balance of men and women while guaranteeing the best possible representation of the different groups in each of its territories.
The meetings of the Board of Directors are open to the public and anyone may attend and ask questions.

Priorities
This is the 5 priorities of the Board of directors.
1 - Development of 1st line
2 - Repatriation of the Child-Family-Youth clientele within the HSSSC territory
3 - Improvement of the provision of services to the elderly clientele with loss of autonomy
4 - Improvement of the fluidity among first, second and third line services
5 - Improve the reputation of the West Island HSSC by making quality care, services and patient safety a constant concern, at all levels of the Organization
